Battlefield 3 will blow you away - former dev says

Battlefield 3 hasn't event been announced yet, but we're already excited about the game thanks to former DICE boss Fredrik Liliegren.
Fredrik Liliegren is now boss over at Antic Entertainment is still under NDA, so he can't go into details, but he's clearly very excited about the work he's seen on Battlefield 3 before he left DICE.

"I know what they were talking about on the PC side for Battlefield, and they haven't announced any of that yet, after three years," he said. "So I know what's coming, and I still can't talk about it because I'm still under NDA."

"What the PC version is going to be, Battlefield 3, I think it's going to absolutely blow everyone away, but I can't tell you what it is, but it will blow people away, because it's not Modern Warfare 2 PC, it's not that experience."


so....this is not gonna be like BC 2/MW 2 i take it, this is gonna be Battlefield 2'ish ? i really hope so

yeah i hope they dont dumb it down because they are releasing on console. Although i think controls were pretty good for bad company 2, except for the mouse acceleration, im quite sure they can get that right. I will rage my ass off if they dont have at least 64 player dedicated servers though! and much much bigger maps than bad company 2...
