hi guys

as you know i normally play on the server regularly but recently my gfx card died so i had to borrow another

anyway toning i tried to join the server a couple of times as its the first time i tried to isince i installed the 'new' card and im getting kicked with the following pb message:

kicked for disallowed Program/Driver

ive not changed or installed anything else other than the gdx drivers for this card, so basially i'd like to know if any on you guys know what its on about

plz help i busting a gut to play again

It seems that a lot of people are getting this recently, you havn't tried to update the drivers to the newest ones ?

got no idea, maybe try some googling around ?

i had that once. im not sure about this but...... if you wanna fix this problem you have to uninstall the software you installed most recent. once again im not sure if thats the way you fix this issue

problem solved

thanks to google i found the cause

turns out that the Steam ingame overlay was the cause

steam say that there is nothing wrong with the software itself but pb isnt allowing its use

pb say that they are not going to change or update there program to allow it

however steam are actually trying to talk with the makers of pb but thus far have had no success

basically they cant be arsed to

so anyone using steam has to disable there ingame community tab (in steam settings) to play on any server for any game using pb

thanks, thats a good bit of advice, i guess ill try not to buy games that use PB from steam!

posted fix in news section because there is around a kick every 15-20 mins on the server atm
